About

Backend Engineer at ParshipMeet Group, building and operating distributed systems for social dating and video platforms. I work in Go running in Kubernetes on GCP and AWS, focusing on reliability, data consistency, and observability.

What I do

I build backend product services and the supporting APIs (HTTP and gRPC). My goal is boring production: reliability, scalability, and maintainability that holds up under real traffic. With right metrics, logs, and traces that make issues obvious is kind of observability that lets me sleep at night.

How I do it

I start by clarifying what the product needs, define the first objective, ship, and iterate. Over time a service becomes what actually works in production and solves real user needs. Every design choice should have a reason you can point to.

I prefer simple, reliable systems that do one thing well over complex, all-in-one solutions. I prefer small interfaces and a lot of testing. I don't like "magic" in the system - if there is a behavior, there should be a design decision behind it or a cause that can be traced.

The focus is clear contracts, explicit trade-offs, and predictable behavior under load.

Where I did it

In the past, I have worked with data processing in video analytics at GoTo and real-time monitoring for industrial IoT at Symate. Before that, I built web applications for enterprise clients in Ressourcenmangel. More about my experience in the work section.
